One of the types of relaxation in winter is a holiday on hot springs. Ukraine boasts more than one thermal resort. Beregove, Koson, Lumshory, Velyatino – these settlements are well known among lovers of health and relaxation in hot mineral springs.
Rest on thermal springs
Thermal waters in the Carpathians are groundwater with a unique chemical composition. They are used not only for relaxation but also for recovery. The temperature of mineral waters ranges from +20 to +80 degrees. This means that autumn and winter – the perfect time to relax in thermal resorts.
Next to the springs are built modern complexes with swimming pools, thermal baths, massage rooms, lounges. Due to the developed infrastructure, thermal resorts are well suited for recreation with children. The Carpathians are good not only for skiers, but also for lovers of relaxation.
Thermal springs in the Carpathians – where to rest?
Most of the thermal waters are located in Zakarpattia. One of the largest thermal complexes is located in the village of Koson. It has five swimming pools, seven saunas and a salt room.
Another famous resort – Lumshory. People come here on vacation in the Carpathians with vats. In huge vats, water is collected from springs, herbs are added and heated on the fire. Guests are invited to first warm up in a tub and then swim in a cold river. It is the temperature difference that will give the desired invigorating and healing effect.
In addition to thermal pools in Zakarpattia, winter fishing, quad biking trips, horseback riding are popular among vacationers.
